Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Aria Websites collects, why, and what happens to it. It covers both people who contact me about my services and visitors to websites I build and host for my customers.

If you contact me about my services

When you email me, I receive your email address, your name if you give it, and whatever you write. I use this only to reply to you and to carry out any work you go on to hire me for. I do not sell it, rent it, or add you to a marketing list.

If you use a website I built for one of my customers

Sites I build may include a contact or enquiry form and, in some cases, an AI concierge chat. If you use these:

• Information you type into a form, such as your name, phone number, email, event date and any notes, is sent to that business so they can reply to you.
• Messages you send to the chat assistant are processed to generate a reply, and may be recorded in technical logs.
• That information belongs to the business you are contacting, not to me. I handle it on their behalf, only to operate their website. Please do not enter sensitive personal information, such as payment card or health details, into any website form or chat.

Services I use to run these websites

I use a small number of third-party providers, and information may pass through them:

• Cloudflare for website hosting and security.
• Resend to deliver enquiry emails to the business you contacted.
• AI model providers, accessed through OpenRouter, to generate chat replies where a site includes an AI assistant.

These providers process information only to deliver those functions.

How long it is kept

Enquiry emails are kept by the business that received them, under their own retention practices. Technical logs are short-lived and are used for troubleshooting and abuse prevention.

Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising cookies and does not track you across other websites. Websites I build for customers may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics only where that customer asks for it.

Your choices

You can ask me what information I hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@aria-websites.org and I will action it, normally within 30 days. If your request concerns information you submitted to one of my customers' websites, I may need to pass the request on to that business, and I will tell you if so.

Children

My services are provided to businesses and are not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it.
